About Me
My name is Alexander. Since childhood I have spent a lot of time fishing on rivers and lakes. Fly fishing has always been my greatest passion.
I tied my first flies many years ago. At the beginning they were far from perfect, but they still caught fish. Over time my flies became better and more effective.
In 2008 I successfully passed the exams of the European Fly Fishing Association (EFFA). After that I started teaching as an instructor — fly casting, fly fishing techniques, and fly tying.
I have taken part in many fly fishing and fly tying competitions, gaining valuable experience and meeting anglers from many different countries.
In 2012 I also passed the AAPGAI examinations in the United Kingdom, achieving an advanced certification level.
Over the years I have fished with a fly rod in many parts of the world — from Mongolia to Scotland — always using flies tied by myself.
During this time I created many successful fly patterns, both for my own fishing and by special request from anglers.
I also spent many years running my fly fishing school, teaching both adults and children. Over the years I have helped thousands of people learn fly fishing, from their first cast to more advanced techniques.
Eventually I began selling my flies around the world for salmon, trout, tarpon, GT and many other species. Today anglers use my flies on rivers, lakes, and oceans on every continent.
Personally, I have caught around 50 species of fish on the fly, and anglers using my flies have caught even more species around the world.
One of the greatest pleasures for me is receiving photos of fish caught on my flies. It always makes me very happy when anglers share their success.
Now I have opened my own store and I am excited to share my flies with you.
